Sharing a birthday!

The newest addition to our family, Sophie, was born on Monday, June 20th, 2011. This was also my 26th birthday! She weighed 8lbs. 1oz. and was 20in. long. She is perfect in every way Here are a few pictures to see why I might be moving a little slower these next few days but no worries a new giveaway will be available tomorrow!

Cloth Diapers!!

Did anyone else get resistance from family when you were deciding to cloth diaper? My family and most of my friends responded with “Cloth diapers? Like with pins and plastic pants!?”, when I explained that we wanted to use cloth diapers and why. My husband supports me 200% thank goodness!

                          Here are my top 5 reasons for cloth diapering:

• Cloth diapers have come a long way from pins and plastic pants!
• They are easy to care for
• Cloth diapers are good for at home use as well as on the go!
• They are an economical choice
• ONE family can make a difference in the environment and the amount of diapers sitting in our landfills!

New Baby!

Well my csection for baby #2, Sophie, has been scheduled for this Monday, June 20th (which is also my 26th birthday!). I will have my laptop with me at the hospital but probably will not be responding to any emails on that day, unless I can’t sleep!

I cannot wait to hold this much anticipated little girl!
